The one piece design allows the handpiece to rest in your hand perfectly, matching the curvature of your hand allowing you to work comfortably for any types of procedures without experiencing hand fatigue or cramping. The one piece design is available in a 1:1 Gear ratio allowing you to work at the full speed of 20,000 or 40,000 rpm depending on your air motor or at a reduced ratio with a 4:1 gear ratio which will reduce the speed by a ratio of 4. The 1:1 is excellent for tooth removal and for finishing as a slow speed contra angle. The 4:1 would be suitable for prophy, polishing, and finishing on a tooth with it’s lower speed.
